Firing Service

I love to help potters fire their work. I have one small bisque kiln and one large kiln I use for stoneware firings. The fees are calculated based on the current electricity rates, my time to pack/un pack and wear & tear on the kiln. You can book a full kiln load or drop your pieces off and wait until there is enough work to fill the kiln.

*Mid-fire Note: As I only work in stoneware, you will need to make a full kiln load worth of pieces in order to have them fired.

  • Small kiln load = $65
    Large kiln load = $180

    Small kiln Internal dimensions:
    350mm x 350mm x 350mm

  • Full kiln load = $210
    Partial load - calculated on number of shelves used (average no. of shelves in each firing - 7).

    Shelf dimensions:
    500mm x 500mm.
    Internal kiln dimensions:
    550mm w x 550mm d x 900mm h

  • Full kiln load = $200
    Partial load - calculated on number of shelves used (average no. of shelves in each firing - 7).

    500mm x 500mm.
    Internal kiln dimensions:
    550mm w x 550mm d x 900mm h
